The Mellowship Jazz Club

The Mellowship is a laid-back jazz club in the Chang Phueak area, north of Chiang Mai's Old City. It hosts regular live jazz in an intimate room suited to couples, small groups and solo visitors.

The club opens from 5pm to midnight, Tuesday to Sunday, and is closed on Mondays. Line-ups can shift by season, so the Facebook page is the place to check who is playing. Smart-casual dress fits the setting, and ID is checked at the door, so carry a passport or a photo of it.

It is a quieter, conversation-friendly alternative to the busier bar strips of the Old City and Nimman.
