Coconut Monkey is a beachfront cafe in Mae Haad on Koh Tao, set right on the sand near Master Divers and a short walk from the ferry pier. It is a relaxed daytime spot where divers and travellers gather before or after a boat trip.
The menu is built around breakfasts, wraps, fresh juices, organic coffee and smoothie bowls, with plenty of vegetarian and vegan choices. Drinks come with bamboo straws, and service is quick even when the tables fill up.
The cafe opens daily from 08:00 to 17:00. Prices are moderate for the island, and the sea view makes it an easy place to linger over a second coffee.
