Pai Wednesday Market

Pai Wednesday Market is a weekly morning market held in the Wiang Tai area of Pai. Vendors start setting up from about 05:00 every Wednesday and trade until around noon.

The stalls cover fresh produce, prepared foods, local snacks and everyday household goods, and the crowd is mostly local residents doing their weekly shopping. It shows a quieter side of Pai than the evening walking street, and it is a good place to try northern Thai snacks and pick up fruit.

Arriving early gives the widest choice before stalls start to pack up late in the morning.
