Bebop Live Music Bar

Bebop is a jazz bar on the second floor of VELA Phuket Old Town, at the corner of Yaowarat and Phang Nga roads, next to the Pintxo tapas bar. The house band plays jazz standards, soul and blues, and the line-up changes through the week from acoustic sets to a full band with vocals, sax, guitar and drums.

Sets usually start around 9 pm, and guest musicians sometimes sit in during jam sessions. There is no cover charge, and tips for the band are welcome. The bar pours classic cocktails, wine, whisky and gin, with bar snacks rather than full meals.

It opens from 6 pm to midnight. Fridays and Saturdays fill up, so booking by phone or arriving before 9 pm helps.
