Meritton British International School

Meritton British International School is located in Chiang Mai and combines a British educational experience with Values-based Education. Its approach is built on Four Pillars of Learning: Values-based Education, a Thematic Approach, Enquiry-based Learning, and Mindfulness Inspiration, with respect, responsibility, kindness and a positive attitude towards learning central to school life.

The school welcomes children from Pre-Nursery to Reception (ages 2 to 5) in its Early Years programme, following the UK's Early Years Foundation Stage. Primary School covers Year 1 to Year 6 (ages 5 to 11) with the Cambridge International Curriculum, while Secondary School runs from Year 7 to Year 12 (ages 11 to 16), including the Cambridge Lower Secondary programme and preparation for IGCSE and advanced study.

Primary science, geography and history are combined into Units of Exploration, supported by subjects such as English, Maths and Art. Daily mindfulness and values education help students build self-regulation, confidence and maturity.
