New York Live Music Bar

New York Live Music Bar is an open live music venue on Bangla Road in Patong, near the beachfront end of the street.

House bands, largely made up of musicians from the Philippines, play every night and switch sets through the evening. The music leans towards heavy rock and hip hop, with classic rock, pop and popular songs mixed in, and the bands take requests. The sound is loud and the crowd often dances late into the night.

There is no food, and drinks are reasonably priced for Bangla Road, with beers from about 150 baht and cocktails around 200 to 250 baht. The bar opens from 6.30pm and usually stays open well past 1am.
