MaHoRee City of Music

MaHoRee City of Music is a live jazz and blues bar on Prapokklao Road in Chiang Mai's Old City, run by the team behind the North Gate Jazz Co-Op. Three to four bands rotate through each evening, and they often move across genres into soft rock and classic pop.

There is open-air seating at the back. Cocktails are priced on the higher side for Chiang Mai, at around 350 baht, with beer at about 250 baht, and card payments carry a surcharge. The room can get crowded on festival nights, so arriving early helps to get a seat.

It opens daily from 6:30pm to midnight, and schedules are shared on its Facebook page.
