Lazy Republique Roof Bar

Lazy Republique is a small French-owned resort at the entrance to Bailan village in the south of Koh Chang, about 100 metres from the beach. Its roof bar has a sea-view terrace that is open for cocktails and sunsets.

The terrace looks out over Bailan Bay and the islands to the south, and it is a quieter alternative to the beach bars further up the coast. Below, the resort has a pool set in a tropical garden.

It suits a relaxed sundowner before dinner in Bailan, where a handful of local Thai restaurants and small bistros are within walking distance.
