Sook Siam Khaolak

Sook Siam is a mid-range Thai restaurant in Khuk Khak, Khao Lak, popular with both local residents and travellers passing through Phang Nga province. It offers an accessible introduction to Southern Thai flavours at lower prices than resort dining.

The atmosphere is relaxed and informal, and the cooks will adjust the heat of each dish when asked for no spice, a little or Thai-hot, since they often tone it down for foreign guests by default.

Sook Siam opens seven days a week from 09:00 to 22:00. Tables are not booked online, so guests simply walk in or ask their hotel to call ahead.
