Assava Dive Resort Koh Tao

Assava Dive Resort sits on the sandy curve of Chalok Baan Kao Bay in the quieter south of Koh Tao. It is a PADI 5 Star Career Development Centre with beachfront rooms on site, a pool, a restaurant and bar called The Cove, and bike rental.

Courses run from first dives to professional level, with PADI scuba programmes, TecRec technical diving, freediving, mermaid courses, first aid and adaptive diving. Groups are kept to a maximum of four divers per guide, and non-divers can snorkel, kayak or join island tours.

The team speaks English, Spanish, Dutch, French, German, Danish and Thai. The centre is a PADI Eco Centre and part of PADI 100% Aware, and was rated 4.9 from about 2,700 Google reviews in November 2026.
