TongBar

TongBar is a compact live music bar on Ratvithi Road in Chiang Mai's Old City. Rotating bands play rock, funk and jazz every night from 6pm, and local musicians, plus the occasional well-known performer, drop in.

The room is very small, with space for only a handful of indoor tables, and staff add stools when it fills. The crowd is roughly half local and half international. When a band is playing there is a minimum spend of 100 baht per person, and drinks are priced a little above the city average.

It opens daily from 6pm to midnight, next to the Ratvithi Road bar cluster.
