Boy Bamboo Art is a tattoo shop in the backpacker area of Lonely Beach on Koh Chang, on the side street in the bar district where several small tattoo studios are found.
Boy works in traditional bamboo, hand-poked tattooing, including Sak Yant designs, and the shop has a large portfolio of original designs to choose from. Prices are agreed before work begins.
Bamboo tattooing is slower than machine work but tends to heal quickly, and it is a popular choice for travellers wanting a tattoo with a Thai tradition behind it.
