Troubadour Blues Bar is a small live music bar on Chang Moi Kao Road, just east of Chiang Mai's Old City. Blues acts and jazz bands are the main draw, and the sound system gets regular praise from visitors.
The bar has built a loyal following among local musicians and travelling music fans, and many visitors return more than once during a stay. Drinks are sensibly priced, and Friday and Saturday are the busiest nights.
It opens Wednesday to Sunday from 6pm to midnight and is closed on Monday and Tuesday.
