Chiang Mai OriginaLive bills itself as the first dedicated indie livehouse in Chiang Mai. It is a small bar in the Phra Sing area of the Old City, next to the Bear Wash laundromat, hosting independent artists, local bands and open mic nights.

Past performers include Tae Simong and Para Siptation, and the sound system is good for a room of its size. The crowd leans local rather than tourist, and the mood is relaxed and friendly. A Singha beer costs about 80 baht.

Performances usually start in the evening. Several visitors who found it by chance went back on later nights.
