For 2026, the festival is scheduled to take place from January 16 – 18 (Friday to Sunday). The entire village is decorated with thousands of painted parasols and lanterns. The undisputed highlight of the festival is the famous "Bo Sang Beauty Bicycle Parade." Unlike other Thai festivals with massive floats, here, local ladies dressed in traditional Lanna costumes ride vintage bicycles while holding red umbrellas. The main street (Route 1014) is lined with thousands of colorful lanterns and umbrellas hanging from the rooftops, creating a "tunnel of color." This is the best spot for photographers.

How to get there:

Taxi/Songthaew: From Warorot Market (Kad Luang), take a white Songthaew (bus) marked "Bo Sang - Sankamphaeng" (approx. 30-40 THB). It drops you right at the festival entrance.
