The Secret 1940s Cuban Speakeasy

To enter, you have to find a graffiti-covered telephone booth, step inside, and dial the secret code. Once the door opens, you are transported to pre-revolutionary Cuba. Havana Social is famous for its peeling plaster walls, vintage furniture, and incredible rum cocktails. The music shifts from Afro-Cuban jazz early in the evening to high-energy reggaeton and salsa late at night. It is arguably the coolest "secret" party in town.

Pastel is the place to see and be seen. Perched on the 22nd floor of the Aira Hotel, this rooftop brings the French Riviera to Bangkok. It is vibrant, colorful, and incredibly photogenic. The atmosphere is a mix of fine dining and high-energy partying, with live percussionists, saxophone players, and dancers performing around your table. If you want a celebratory vibe with champagne showers, this is it.

For a more relaxed but lively night, Hemingway’s is a massive teakwood house inspired by the Key West home of Ernest Hemingway. It features a lovely outdoor garden, a balcony bar, and a lively indoor zone. It’s perfect for starting your night with happy hour deals or watching live sports. The vibe is friendly, unpretentious, and welcoming to both expats and tourists.

Located just one street over in Soi 13 (but connected to Nana via skywalk), Spectrum is a Hyatt Regency masterpiece. It spans three levels (29th–31st floors), offering a more spacious and luxurious experience than some of the crowded bars on Soi 11. The top deck is an open-air rooftop with live DJs and 360-degree views. It feels upscale and sophisticated, perfect for a romantic date or a classy night out.
