A small, timeworn neighborhood shrine cherished by Chinatown locals, the Pradu Goddess is approached for gentle matchmaking and relationship harmony. The etiquette here leans Chinese: bring 3 incense sticks, 2 red candles, and 5 red apples or sweet cakes. If available, you may also offer a thin red string as a symbol of destiny. Light the candles first, then incense, and step forward to state your name, birthdate, and a respectful request for a compatible partner or for smoother communication with someone already in your life. Place fruit or sweets on the tray, and tie or leave the red string at the rack provided if customary at the site. Visit before dusk for a calmer atmosphere. Return to give thanks with fruit or a simple incense set if your wish bears fruit.
