Keeree Mantra Restaurant

Keeree Mantra is a large Thai restaurant on Sangchuto Road in Nong Bua, on the northern edge of Kanchanaburi town. It shares its grounds with The Village Farm To Cafe and looks out over limestone mountains and green fields, with air-conditioned dining rooms and an open terrace.

The signature dish is deep-fried gourd in a spicy flour-based salad. Tom yum seafood, pineapple fried rice, spicy fish paste and a steamed coconut curry with fish are other regular orders, and earlier menus feature roasted duck in red curry and coconut milk ice cream. The steamed fish curry can contain small bones.

The space is roomy and works for families and groups, and the kitchen is open every day from late morning until evening.
