Ao Tapao is the longest beach on the island and the main hub of activity without being "busy." It faces directly west, making it the undisputed Best Sunset Spot on Koh Kood. The beach has a long wooden pier where locals and tourists gather every evening to watch the sun drop into the ocean. The vibe is relaxed, with a few beach bars serving cold drinks as the sky turns purple and orange.
