Not to be confused with the cliff in Bueng Kan, Chiang Khan’s Phu Thok is a sunrise favorite for its sweeping views over the Mekong-side hills and frequent morning mists. In January, cool mornings and stable air produce beautiful inversions, so arrive at least 45 minutes early for blue hour.
