North Gate Jazz Co-Op (The Street Jazz Vibe)

For a chill, non-commercial New Year. This tiny bar spills out onto the street and is famous worldwide among the backpacker and jazz community.

Highlight: No fireworks, no fancy galas—just incredible live jazz improvisation. On NYE, the crowd fills the street (Chang Phuak Gate side). It’s a community feel where everyone cheers at midnight with a beer in hand while the band plays on.

Opening Time: 19:00 - 00:00+ (Music starts around 21:30).

Location: Sri Poom Road (Inside the moat, near Chang Phuak Gate).

How to get there:

- Walk: Easily walkable from anywhere in the Old City (North Gate side).

- Red Truck: Ask for "Chang Phuak Gate" (North Gate).

- Note: Seating is almost impossible to get after 20:00; be prepared to stand and mingle.
