Khun Wang Royal Project (Doi Inthanon)

While primarily a research station, Khun Wang is where the "Royal 80" strawberry breed originated. The strawberries here are grown with expert care and are often cheaper than the private commercial farms. The huge bonus: if you visit in January, the farm is surrounded by the famous "Wild Himalayan Cherry" (Thai Sakura) trees, creating a stunning pink canopy over the red strawberry fields.
