Khon Kaen City Gate (Khon Kaen)

Khon Kaen hosts the most famous countdown in Isan. The event takes place at the iconic City Gate (Pratu Muang) on Srichan Road. The entire area is transformed into a "Garden of Glowing Lights" with millions of LED bulbs decorating the park and the gate itself. The atmosphere is electric, featuring top rock bands and a massive fireworks display that lights up the city center. It’s family-friendly yet incredibly high-energy.

How to get there:

Taxi/Tuk-Tuk: Ask for "Pratu Muang" or "Central Khon Kaen". It is right in the city center.
