If you’re an NFL fan living in Thailand or just happen to be on holiday during the Super Bowl, you might be wondering how to catch the biggest event in American football. Don’t worry, whether you’re streaming from home, heading to a sports bar, or relying on cable TV, there are plenty of options to ensure you don’t miss a single moment of Super Bowl 2026. From TrueVisions to official streaming platforms like NFL Game Pass and DAZN, here’s everything you need to know.
The Super Bowl is typically held on the second Sunday in February in the USA. For Super Bowl 2026, that means the action is set for the morning of Monday, February 9th (Thailand time). Kickoff is expected around 6:30 AM ICT (Indochina Time), so you might want to set your alarm or pull an all-nighter to catch the live excitement!
For many years, live NFL coverage, including the Super Bowl, has been available via TrueVisions, Thailand’s major cable provider. The Super Bowl is usually broadcast live on the True Sports channels, sometimes with the option for English commentary. If you already have a subscription to TrueVisions and access to their sports channels, check your schedule the week before the big game. Channels may change from year to year, but True Sports 6 or True Sports HD are common options.
For fans who prefer flexibility or those without cable, streaming is the most convenient way to watch the Super Bowl in Thailand. Here are your top options:
NFL Game Pass is the official streaming platform for NFL fans outside the United States. With an international Game Pass, you can stream the Super Bowl live on your laptop, phone, tablet, or smart TV. All you need is a subscription. Choose the Playoffs or Super Bowl package if you only want access for this event. Expect full English commentary, high definition, and extra content like commercials and the halftime show.
DAZN is increasingly popular for live sports coverage in Thailand. They’ve partnered in past years with the NFL to stream games, including the Super Bowl. Check DAZN Thailand’s site in January to confirm live streaming for 2026. If available, all you need is a monthly DAZN subscription. Watching on Apple TV, Chromecast, smart TVs, or mobile is a breeze.
Some viewers use international sports streaming platforms with a VPN to access other English-language Super Bowl broadcasts (UK, Australia, etc.). Make sure any VPN use complies with the streaming platform’s terms and local laws. For most fans, though, NFL Game Pass or DAZN are legal, reliable options.
If you fancy a real game-day atmosphere, Thailand has some excellent American sports bars in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pattaya, and Phuket. Many expat neighborhoods have popular bars that open for Super Bowl Monday morning, offering American breakfasts, plenty of coffee, or even a "boozy brunch." Search Facebook groups and bar websites in January for special Super Bowl promotions.
One of the best things about watching the Super Bowl from home on an international stream is the chance to see the full halftime show and even those famous U.S. commercials (banned on many U.S. broadcasts online). Platforms like NFL Game Pass stream the halftime performance without interruption, and they may include international commercial feeds. If you’re a fan of the culture and spectacle as much as the game itself, official international streaming is your best bet.
In recent years, free-to-air channels in Thailand have not shown the Super Bowl live. Coverage is almost always limited to TrueVisions cable/satellite and paid streaming partners. If you don’t have access to cable or a paid stream, local sports bars remain your best choice to watch the game with fellow fans.
