Women's Massage Center by Ex-Prisoners

The Women's Massage Center is a social enterprise that trains and employs women rebuilding their lives after prison. The first centre opened in 2014 with a few Thai massage graduates from the women's prison in Chiang Mai, and the project has since grown to several shops around the Old City and Tha Phae Road.

The Wiang Kaew Road shop sits inside the moat in Si Phum. The menu is simple and fairly priced: traditional Thai massage at 250 baht an hour or 500 baht for two hours, foot massage and back, shoulder, neck and head massage at 250 baht, oil massage from 450 baht, a Thai herbal facial scrub and an aloe vera body massage.

It is open daily from 09:00 to 22:00, and bookings are taken in person.
