Kaeng Hom Lampang

Kaeng Hom is a northern and central Thai restaurant and cafe set in a garden behind the Tree Tara hotel, on the Lampang-Ngao highway in Chomphu. Tables sit outside among the plants, which is especially pleasant in the cool season.

The kitchen serves northern dishes such as nam prik ong, the tomato and pork chilli dip with vegetables, and Thai favourites like tom kha with snakeskin gourami, while the cafe side offers coffee and cakes, including a coconut cake. Food prices are standard and drinks and desserts are inexpensive.

It opens every day from 11:00 to 23:00.
